G'daaaaay folks! Aloysius here, just wanted to grab your ear for a tick (relax, it's not the parasite kind).

Each year at Tech.Ed, we hold an Ask The Experts night, a chance for attendees to ask their favourite speakers a question or two.

However this year, the brass gave me the job, and I'm flipping the script!

Why? Well, because some of the best conversations happen in the hall ways! And almost everyone at Tech.Ed has something valuable to offer, you know, the whole eye of the beholder thing.

So what we're trying to do this year is discover all the experts, whoever they might be, and connect them to the attendees; this includes speakers, partners, exhibitors, customers, pretty much anyone attending Tech.Ed this year!

How will it work? On the night, we will have meeting points set up, and our MC will run four lightning rounds. Each round will run for 15 minutes, 10 minutes of talking, 5 minutes of walking (to get to your next catch-up). There will be three types of sessions, 1:1 (pedestal tables), 1:few (lounge areas), and 1:many (cabanas and break-out rooms).

How do you get involved? Easy! Start by filling out the profile form. We will then organise everyone into knowledge categories, and make these available on CommNet, where your fellow attendees can express interest by sending you a connect request around a specific topic. If you accept, the request goes into a catalogue, where my Alpaca Strike Force (lead by Chuck Norris) will match up meetings into either 1:1, 1:few, or 1:many. Before Tech.Ed, everyone will get access to their dance card, which will tell you where you need to be at the start of each round, and what role you're playing; expert or inquisitor.

This is your chance to connect with your fellow Tech.Ed'ers peeps, to give and get the knowledge that matters.

We're calling it "1500 Conversations in One Night"! I know you're going to love it!

So... are you in!?

You can count on me Al! Take me to the registration form!
